Other Programs

The Colorado Cattlemen's Association (CCA) has been involved in the creation and longevity of several programs in Colorado dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of agriculture in the state. These programs continue to run today due to the hard work of CCA and the programs' passionate members. Click below to find more information and links to each of these programs.

Ag Water NetWORK

The Ag Water NetWORK was created by Colorado Cattlemen's Association and the Partners for Western Conservation to help 'keep agricultural water connected with agricultural land.' Water used by agriculture provides an abundance of food, fiber and fuel. Colorado's farms and ranches also supply open space, wildlife habitat and other ecosystem services at no cost to citizens. Ag Water NetWORK is the only organization to bring Colorado organizations through policy and drive solutions-based results for the benefit of agriculture across Colorado.

For industry, the Colorado Habitat Exchange will offer mitigation opportunities that are quantifiable and that can streamline regulatory approvals. For all, the Colorado Habitat Exchange will mean continued economic development and job creation, in addition to scientifically robust, long-term conservation of habitat and wildlife.

Colorado Resource Monitoring Initiative

Whether you are just getting started or have an established rangeland monitoring program, the Colorado Resource Monitoring Initiative is a tool that can provide you with the assurance that your monitoring efforts have broad acceptance and support. CRMI can also aid preservation of data, as well as potential opportunities and benefits from state and federal agencies. Visit this page to learn more about implementing the CRMI cooperative monitoring process on your private, state, or federal lands.

The Colorado Resource Monitoring Initiative was developed by a group of stakeholders in order to develop a standardized approach to rangeland monitoring across private, state, and federal lands. This initiative brought stakeholders to the table to delineate common protocols and methods that currently exist between agencies and the range science community.
