LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Colorado Cattlemen’s Association’s (CCA) Annual Convention kicks off today! It’s shaping up to be an event you won’t want to miss, with a lot planned between now and Wednesday. Today, three rounds of committee meetings will focus on timely updates, education, and lively policy discussions. The schedule is as follows:

Today’s lunch will feature the Colorado Leopold Conservation Award presentation; plus you’ll get a chance to network and enjoy tonight at the Trade Show Welcome Reception, where nearly 60 trade show exhibitors are setting up as we speak!
If you can’t make it today, tomorrow and Wednesday are filled with great activities! Tomorrow will highlight the 7th Annual Ranching Legacy Symposium. We will start the morning with “State of the Industry: Critical Updates on Critical Issues” presentations, including an in-depth presentation from CattleFax. Following lunch in the trade show, we will have a new event on our schedule, the Grassroots to Grasstops session, which is an affiliate engagement session. Topics will include membership engagement, industry issues management, and local leadership opportunities. Later that evening, we will head down the hill for the American Cowboy Banquet at the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, featuring great food, award presentations, live music from Kade Hoffman, and the chance to connect as an industry. Wednesday will wrap up with CCA’s Beef and Business Breakfast, CCA’s Business Meeting, and CCA's Board of Directors meeting.
