Colorado Parks and Wildlife Confirms Wolf Depredation in Grand County

LAKEWOOD, Colo. - The Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) received a credible report of a wolf depredation incident in Grand County, Colorado. The incident, which resulted in the loss of livestock, underscores the ongoing challenges faced by ranchers in managing conflicts between livestock and wildlife. Wolf presence presents significant challenges for ranchers striving to maintain the health and well-being of their livestock.

At the request of the affected landowners, we will maintain their anonymity and refrain from disclosing specific details about their identity or location to protect their privacy and security as they are working through the situation.
