LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Colorado Cattlemen’s Association’s (CCA) Annual Convention kicks off today! It’s shaping up to be an event you won’t want to miss, with a lot planned between now and Wednesday. Today, there are three rounds of committee meetings scheduled that will focus on timely updates, education, and lively policy discussions. The schedule is as follows:

- Marketing
Today’s lunch will feature the Colorado Leopold Conservation Award presentation; plus you’ll get a chance to network and enjoy tonight at the Trade Show Welcome Reception, where nearly 60 trade show exhibitors are setting up as we speak!
If you can’t make it today, be sure to join us tomorrow and Wednesday! Tomorrow will highlight the 6th Annual Ranching Legacy Symposium, featuring two distinct sessions. We will start the morning with “State of the Industry: Critical Updates on Critical Issues” presentations and then we will have three breakout sessions in the afternoon focused on federal lands, sustainability and grazing, and wolf introduction. Later that evening, we will enjoy the “Mountain Meat-Up” reception and banquet, at the Mt. Werner Lodge at the top of Steamboat mountain with great food, award presentations, and the chance to connect as an industry. Wednesday will wrap up with CCA’s Beef and Business Breakfast.
