It’s Not Too Early to Start Choosing Your Leaders!

Learning how the beef industry functions and what dictates the future of this profession is not an easy task. CCA recognized this need for producers to get hands-on training of how their industry works so they can better predict and determine their future, thus the inception of the Kirk Hanna Cattlemen’s Leadership Conference.

To carry on the tradition, the 2007 Cattlemen’s Leadership Conference will take place Feb. 20-22. CCA will be offering over a dozen participants the chance to sharpen their leadership skills, including spokesperson training and meeting their elected officials. The conference is open to CCA members of all ages who would like to become leaders in the beef industry at the local and state levels.

Participants may be nominated and sponsored by their local cattlemen’s or cattlewomen’s association, or can contact the CCA office for an individual registration form. So if you know of anyone who has an interest in the inner-workings of Colorado legislation, the nation’s import/export standings, our national organization, or the future of the cattle market, be sure to nominate and sponsor them to attend this three-day event!

Contact the CCA office today to participate or sponsor a Kirk Hanna Leadership attendee.
