Young people can stay involved
in industry issues
As college students leave the farm and head back to class, the
Colorado Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) is hoping they can make time in their
busy schedules to stay involved in agriculture.
CCA is working to strengthen collegiate
membership in the organization. Collegiate groups, such as Colorado State
University’s Block & Bridle Club, have joined CCA as fully-recognized
affiliates. When students seek individual membership, they can enjoy the same
voting and participation privileges as other CCA members.
"Our goal is to have young people take an
active part in CCA so that they can see how their knowledge of industry issues
and involvement help drive change and safeguard the state’s cattle industry,"
said Terry Fankhauser, CCA director of special projects.
Collegiate membership in CCA is $25 annually,
and collegiate group membership as a CCA affiliate is $75. For more information,
contact Terry Fankhauser at the CCA office, (303) 431-6422 or
