Colorado Cattlemen’s Association entered into an agreement with the city of Denver and National Western Stock Show that will enable CCA to head home to the historic Denver Stockyards and the National Western Center.
An exact timeline for CCA’s move has yet to be determined, yet it will happen. Our ultimate office location is dependent on CCA and other principal partners (NWSS, Colorado State University, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and History Colorado) exploring options for existing infrastructure and the finalization of the master building plan for the new facilities.
With this agreement in place, CCA is re-igniting the campaign to procure the private support contributions necessary to fund our travels “home”. Those who have already made contributions toward the organization’s new home will be recognized with their family’s or business' name on various rooms within the office. A “Buckle Wall” displayed prominently in the office will recognize individual donors at various levels of giving.
Individual and memorial donations, as well as major gifts, are still being sought. While the funding challenge ahead of us is steep, this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is sure to be worth it. If you would like more information about leaving a lasting legacy, contact Terry at the CCA office to discuss these and other giving opportunities.
