Over the past two years, the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association’s Board of Directors has reviewed the association’s current assets and future needs to determine longevity and responsibility toward you, our members. One phase of this review was the association’s office building. It was concluded by past and current leadership that a responsible reinvestment of the building’s current value – along with a capital fundraising campaign – would result in securing a CCA headquarters that will honor the past, meet the needs of the present, and carry the Association into the future for tomorrow’s leaders. To that end, we are kicking off a “Building for the Future” campaign.

CCA is an organization wholly-owned by its current membership. CCA’s membership mobilized in 1991 to purchase the existing building to meet many of the same needs the association is encountering today. In talking with CCA’s past leadership, it was agreed that by capitalizing on the current building’s value and by raising an amount estimated to be +/- $750,000, CCA will secure its future headquarters and financial foundation for many decades to come. This is where you enter into the picture. We ask that you consider donating the value of one calf to our campaign to help us carry the Association into the future for generations to come.

Please look through the “White Paper” listing details of our Relocation Plan. You can also download a Contribution Form explaining the various ways to help CCA in this undertaking, or click here to contribute online.

Why is this project important to us? How will it help the organization in upcoming years?

That partnering and investing continues".....(click here for more)

Notes from Tim Canterbury, Past President of CCA, whose family has been a member since 1950:

"Colorado Cattlemen's Association consists of all of us members - out in the country - who are the heart and body of the organization. Our 'face', however, is the building in Arvada. this face is in need of some costly repairs. It is also being stretched to capacity, with no more room for expansion. Reinvestment"...(click here for more)
