BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT (BLM) LIAISON

 – Chairman: Al Heaton, Cortez

Membership: appointed by president

Responsibilities:
· work with the BLM to stimulate a cooperative approach with the permittees in managing and caring for these federal lands
· coordinate all ‘Section 8' dispute resolution requests on BLM lands
· conduct at least one tour each year between BLM personnel, committee members and permittees on a BLM allotment to discuss proper land management practices
