RESOURCE STEWARDSHIP

 – Chairman: Lawlor Wakem, Jefferson

Membership: appointed by President

Responsibilities:
· work with members of the environmental community to identify and pursue mutual goals of good resource stewardship
· increase awareness among landowners about the need for good resource management and how to enhance their management abilities
· work with the Federal Lands Committee to annually select the “CCA Federal Range Livestockman of the Year”
· work with the Private Property Rights Committee to annually select the “CCA Private Range Livestockman of the Year”
· work with the Game & Fish Committee to nominate individuals for the Division of Wildlife’s “Wildlife Landowner of the Year” award
