FOREST SERVICE LIAISON

 – Chairman: Karl Burns, Paonia

Membership: appointed by president

Responsibilities:
· work with the Forest Service to stimulate a cooperative approach with the permittees in managing and caring for these federal lands
· coordinate all ‘Section 8' requests on Forest Service lands
· conduct at least one tour each year between Forest Service personnel, committee members and permittees on a Forest Service allotment to discuss proper land management practices
